Valery Rizzo is a New York City based stock, assignment and fine art photographer, specializing in lifestyle, food and travel imagery, with a focus on portraiture and green living. With a B.F.A in Illustration from Pratt Institute, Valery has had a long career as an Illustrator, Art Director, and Designer for clients such as Ralph Lauren Home Design, Echo Design Group, Wathne Limited, Town and Country Linen Corp, Liz Claiborne, Bill Blass, Marks and Spencer, Perrier Jouet, Williams Sonoma, Cygnus Inc., Hashi Studio, Shiseido, Canon, Financial Services Week, R.H. Makoby Advertising Worldwide, amongst various others.
Valery continued her study in photography at The International Center of Photography, The School of Visual Arts and Pratt Institute. She has brought to her career as a Photographer her sense of composition and design along with her intuitive artistic sensibilities.
Valery has also exhibited her fine art work in such places as The Edward Carter Gallery, The Atlantic Gallery, The Museum of Modern Art, Thomas Werner Gallery, Westbeth Gallery, The Gallery in Stamford New York and The AOP in London and has contributed to such projects as The September 11 Photo Project and Here is New York and is presently working on her first monograph, " Brooklyn", shot entirely with plastic cameras.
